Glass is fragile material, which requires safe transportation. We are offering special transport, which helps safely to deliver your glass.

How to calculate the weight of glass and products made of it?

Glass (or rather its mass) is calculated according to the formula: M(kg) = S(m2) x t(mm) x 2.5
где:
M - the mass of glass or product in kilograms
S - product area in square meters
t - glass thickness in millimeters
2,5 - the factor determining the weight of 1 m2 of glass of 1 mm thick
From the above formula it follows that 1 m2 glass thickness of 1 mm weighs 2.5 kg., Ie the product area of 2.08 m2 of glass thicknesses. 4 mm. It weighs 2.08 x 4 x 2,5 = 20,8 kg.
